4111 410 RESOLUTION Nu. 3031 RESOLUTION OF rUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND ::ECESSITY PARK STREET IMPROVEMENTS ,HEREAS, on March 21 , 19 60 , the Council of the City of Redwood City adopted a resolution off` preliminary determination to make public improvements in the City of Redwood City, being Resolution No. 3017 of said Council, to construct certain public improvements" more particularly described therein, and did fix therein this date as the time and place when and where any and all - persons interested may ampear and show cause, if any they have, •ihy the City Council should not find and determine that the public convenience and necessity require the improvements described and referred to in aid resolution without compliance with the Special Assessment, Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931; and JHEREA3 notice of the adoption or said resolution and of said time and place of hearing was given by the City Clerk by publica- tion and posting for the time and in the manner provided in said resolution and Ordinance No. 515 of the City of Redwood City, as (..p )ears from the affidavits on file with the City Clerk; and : THEREAS no persons objecting to the undertaking of said pro- ceedings without first complying with the provisions of said Sneci.1 Assessment, Investigation, Limitation, and Majority Protest Act of 1931 have. filed written objections thereto with the City Clerk .t or before the time fixed for this hearing by persons interested, owning or having an interest in real i")roperty within the proposed assessment district, bearing their signatures, a descri )tion of their property, and a statement of the nature of their interest therein; and 7HER EAS all persons have been given an opportunity to be and were fully heard, and said Council has duly considered any and all objections and protests made, and the saic.}proposed improvements and the public convenience and necessity for making the same; Noy , THEREFORE, IT 13 HEREBY RESOLVED by the Council of Red - wood City, as follows: 1. That public convenience and necessity require the improvements described in said Resolution No. 3017 2. That any and all objections and protests made pursuant to said resolution be, and the same are, hereby overruled and denied. 3. That the improvements described in said resolution be made under and pursuant to the provisions of Article I, Ordinance No. 333, Redwood City Improvement Procedure Ordinance adopted March 14, 1932, as amended. _ and that the Special Assessment, Investigation, Limitation and iajority Protest Act of 1931 shall not apply to said proceedings. # * * 4
