R E S O L U T I O N 411 411 <br /> NO. 3027 <br /> RESOLUTION INCREASING CONTRIBUTION <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2801 <br /> (JEFFERSON AVENUE WIDENING IMPROVEMENTS) <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City adopted <br /> Resolution of Intention No. 2801 on July 20, 1959; and <br /> WHEREAS, said resolution provided for a contribution to <br /> be made toward the cost of said improvements in the sum of <br /> Forty Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety -one and 34/100 Dollars <br /> ($40,991.34); and <br /> WHEREAS, due to unforeseen hidden and latent conditions, <br /> additional quantities of materials over and above that <br /> originally anticipated were required to be used to complete <br /> said improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo has contributed the sum <br /> of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) toward the cost of <br /> the construction of said improvements and the acquisitions <br /> made therefor in a separate proceeding; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the <br /> City of Redwood City to increase said contribution: <br /> NOW, THER'ORE, the Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> resolves as follows: <br /> 1. That the contribution provided to be made in said <br /> Resolution of Intention No. 2801 is hereby increased from the <br /> sum of Forty Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety -one and 34/100 <br /> Dollars ($40,991.34) to the sum of Sixty -one Thousand Two <br /> Hundred Seventy -nine and 34/100 Dollars ($61,279.34). <br /> 2. That said contribution in the sum of Sixty -two <br /> Thousand Two Hundred Seventy -nine and 34/100 Dollars <br /> ($61,279.34) shall be contributed toward the cost of doing <br /> said work in the same manner as the original contribution, <br /> that is, it shall be deducted from the total cost of perform- <br /> ing said work, including all incidental expenses attributable <br /> -1- <br />
