REG:yc:3 /10/60 -7 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 3025 <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO AMEND ORDINANCE <br /> NO. 600, BEING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, TO LIMIT THE TIME IN <br /> WHICH APPLICATIONS FOR VARIANCES, APPLICATIONS <br /> FOR USE PERMITS AND PETITIONS FOR AMENDMENTS <br /> MAY BE RECONSIDERED <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has been presented with a number of <br /> repetitious applications for variances and use permits and petitions <br /> for changes in zoning district boundaries; and <br /> WHEREAS, said applications and petitions frequently are sub- <br /> mitted prior to any change in the circumstances which existed at <br /> the time of the prior application or petition or before any <br /> appreciable time has lapsed; and <br /> WHEREAS, the conduct of orderly proceedings before this <br /> Council requires the regulation of the submission of such applica- <br /> tions and petitions; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The Council hereby finds and determines that the public <br /> necessity and convenience and the general welfare require the <br /> amendment of Ordinance No. 600, being the Zoning Ordinance of the <br /> City of Redwood City, to limit the time in which applications for <br /> variances, applications for use permits and petitions for changes <br /> in zoning district boundaries may be considered when there has <br /> been submitted a former such application or petition relating to <br /> the same subject matter. <br /> 2. Pursuant to Section 23.1 of Ordinance No. 600, the Council <br /> hereby declares its intention to add Sections 20.8, 21.8 and 23.6 <br /> to Ordinance No. 600 which amendments shall be substantially in <br /> the form of that certain draft ordinance entitled "Ordinance Adding <br />
