# O REG:ye:3 /30/60-7 R E S O L U T I O N N O. 302+ RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO INSTITUTE PROCEEDINGS TO AMEND ORD- INANCE NO. 600, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, TO REZONE CER- TAIN PROPERTY IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY WOODSIDE ROAD, CYPRESS STREET, CENTER STREET AND EL CAMINO REAL, FROM "R -3" DISTRICT TO "R -2" DISTRICT WHEREAS, Section 23.1 of Ordinance No. 600, being the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, authorizes the initiation of proceedings to amend said ordinance to change the boundaries of the various zoning districts set forth therein by resolution of inten- tion of the City Council; and WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Council of the City of Redwood City to initiate proceedings to accomplish such an amend- ment in accordance with the provisions of Section 23, 23.1, 23.2, 23.3, 23.4 and 23.5 of said Ordinance No. 600; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require that proceedings be initiated to amend Ordinance No. b00 of the City of Redwood City, being the Zoning Ordinance, to change and amend the boundaries of the zoning districts set forth therein to exclude all of the hereinafter described real property from "R -3" District and to include all of said real property in "R -2" District. The property herein referred to is all that real property situate in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, which is within the area bounded by Woodside Road, Cypress Street, Center Street and El Camino Real, and which is presently zoned an "R -3" District, 2. That it is the intention and desire of the Council of the City of Redwood City to initiate proceedings to amend said Ord- inance No. 600 in the manner set forth above in accordance with
