R E S O L U T I O N N O. 3017 <br /> RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION <br /> PARK STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br /> RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, that <br /> it does hereby preliminarily determine that the public convenience <br /> and necessity require, and that it intends to order, the following <br /> work to be done and improvements to be made in and for said City, <br /> to wit: <br /> (1) The improvement of Park Street from Cypress <br /> Street to the southerly boundary of Redwood Villa Park <br /> by constructing and installing therein curbs, gutters, <br /> sidewalks, paving, driveway approaches, on both sides <br /> thereof. <br /> (2) The construction and installation of approx- <br /> imately 305 lineal feet castiron water main, together <br /> with fire hydrant and valves and appurtenances. <br /> (3) The removal of all trees, shrubbery, fences, <br /> driveways, or other obstructions in the line of the <br /> work. <br /> (4) The construction of all work and the furnish- <br /> ing of all materials necessary therefor auxiliary to <br /> any of the work provided to be done in Sections (1) to <br /> (3) inclusive hereof which may be reasonably required <br /> to carry out said work. <br /> All of said work and improvements are to be constructed at the <br /> places and in the manner, and to the lines, grades and elevations, <br /> as shown upon the plans, profiles and specifications made therefor <br /> and on file in the office of the City Engineer of Redwood City. <br /> Said contemplated work and improvements, in the opinion of the <br /> City Council, is of more than local or ordinary public benefit, and <br /> said Council does hereby make the cost and expenses of doing such <br /> work and improvement chargeable upon a District, which District said <br /> City Council declares to be the District benefited by said work and <br /> improvement and to be assessed to pay the entire cost and expenses <br /> thereof, and which said Assessment District is wholly within the <br /> limits of said City of Redwood City, State of California, and is <br /> -1- <br />
