REG:yc:3 /7/60 -7 RESOLUTION N0. 3007 RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR NEW VEHICLES; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain specifications for a 1/2 ton pickup truck, a utility wagon, a 1 -ton flatbed truck, a four wheel drive pickup truck, and a 19,500 G.V.W. truck necessary for municipal purposes; and WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires to signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the furnishing of said equipment; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. Those certain specifications entitled "City of Redwood City Specifications 1/2 Ton Pickup Truck," "City of Redwood City Bid Form with Specifications Utility Wagon," "City of Redwood City Specifications 1 Ton Flatbed Truck," "City of Redwood City Specifications Four Wheel Drive Pickup Truck," and "City of Redwood City Specifications Truck 19,500 G.V.W.," prepared in the office of the City Manager aid on file in the office of the City Manager, consisting of Notice of Sealed Bids, Bidding Form, Specifications, and Bid Sheets, are hereby approved, said spec- ifications providing for the furnishing of the following new equipment: 1/2 ton pickup truck utility wagon 1 -ton flatbed truck four wheel drive pickup truck 19,500 G.V.W. truck 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to ad- vertise for bids for the furnishing of said equipment, in accor- dance with the specifications therefor, said advertisement to be in the form of that certain "Zotice of Sealed Bids" set forth in the above mentioned specifications.
