R E S O L U T I 0 N N 0. 2957 <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT <br /> CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS <br /> BROADWAY STREET LIGHTING <br /> RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood <br /> City, that the public convenience and necessity require, <br /> and that it intends to order in accordance with the <br /> procedure set out in The Improvement Act of 1911 as <br /> embodied in the Streets and Highways Code of the State <br /> of California, as amended, the following work to be <br /> done and improvements to be made in and for said City, <br /> to wit: <br /> (a) The construction and installation of 6.6 ampere <br /> series street lighting system along Broadway <br /> between and including the intersections of <br /> Broadway with M ain Street to the intersection <br /> of Broadway and El Camino Real, by replacing <br /> existing street lighting standards, replacing <br /> existing cable where called for by the Engineer, <br /> connection of existing street lighting circuits <br /> on the streets intersecting Broadway between <br /> and including Main Street and El Camino Real <br /> as called for by the Plans and Specifications <br /> and where directed by the Engineer. <br /> (b) Construction and installation of pull boxes, <br /> valve boxes, grounding rods; removal and <br /> replacement of existing curb, gutter, pavement; <br /> and the removal and re- installation of traffic <br /> signals on Broadway on new standards. <br /> (c) The construction and installation and furnish- <br /> ing of all materials reasonably necessary or <br /> auxiliary to the completion of the work <br /> hereinbefore described. <br /> -1- <br />
