REG:yc:1 /18/60 -7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2967 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE AND EXECUTION <br /> OF GIFT DEED AND AGREEMENT FOR PROPERTY TO BE <br /> USED IN CONNECTION WITH THE MUNICIPAL MARINA <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the construction of certain <br /> Municipal Marina facilities by the City of Redwood City, the Leslie <br /> Salt Company has executed a gift deed of certain real property <br /> adjacent to the existing Marina property owned by the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, said deed contains provisions defining the rights <br /> and liabilities of the parties thereto; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and approves of the pro- <br /> visions of the deed and desires to accept the deed and to agree <br /> to the terms of the deed; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That certain deed entitled "Gift Deed (Estate for Years)," <br /> dated December 28, 1959, and executed by Leslie Salt Company is <br /> hereby approved. <br /> 2. The Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized and <br /> directed to accept and execute said deed on behalf of the City. <br /> 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to record said deed <br /> and to transmit copies of the deed, together with certified copies <br /> of this resolution, to the Leslie Salt Company. <br /> ., a: <br />
