�.� • REG:yc :1/22/60 -7 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 2970 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF REVOCABLE <br /> ENCROACHMENT PERMIT TO AMPEX CORPORATION <br /> WHEREAS, Ampex Corporation is the lessee of that certain <br /> warehouse located at 899 Broadway, Redwood City, California, which <br /> location is the Southerly corner of the intersection of Charter <br /> Street and Broadway; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ampex Corporation desires to locate a fire exit, <br /> together with platform, lighting fixtures, and stairways,within <br /> the public right of way of Broadway; and <br /> WHEREAS, plans for the construction of said fire exit have <br /> been present to, and reviewed by, this Council; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUINTCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a <br /> revocable permit allowing Ampex Corporation to construct a fire <br /> exit within the public right of way at 899 Broadway, Redwood City, <br /> California. <br /> 2. That construction of said fire exit shall conform to that <br /> diagram entitled "899 Broadway Typical Fire Exit Door," dated <br /> January 19, 1960, and signed J. M. Leavitt, which diagram is <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set out at length <br /> herein, and to which reference is hereby made for particulars. <br /> 3. That the permit granted shall be in the form of that <br /> permit entitled "Revocable Permit, Ampex Corporation, 899 Broadway," <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set out at length <br /> herein. <br />
