REG:yc:2 /8/60 -7 RESOLUTION NO. 2975 RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF GASOLINE FOR THE PERIOD OF FEBRUARY 1, 1960 - JANUARY 31, 1961 AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2961, adopted January 11, 1960, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of gas- oline for the period of February 1, 1960 - January 31, 1961, in connection with the operation of City vehicles; and WHEREAS, by motion passed at the regular meeting of this Council on January 25, 1960, the bid of Standard Oil Company of California, Western Operations, Inc., was accepted; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to enter into a contract with said Standard Oil Company of California, Western Operations, Inc., with respect to the furnishing of gasoline for the above described period; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement between the City of Redwood City and Standard Oil Company of California, Western Operations, Inc., entitled "Gasoline Contract (City, County or Municipal)," a copy of which is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, which contract provides for the furnishing of Chevron Supreme Gasoline at a maximum price of $.2275 and Chevron Gasoline at a maximum price of $.1925 and includes a "most favored nations" provision, is hereby approved and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City.
