�,• REG:yc :2/2/60 -7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2977 <br /> RESOLUTION DIRECTING CITY ENGINEER TO TRANSMIT DETER- <br /> MINATIONS OF PREVAILING WAGES TO THE STATE OF <br /> CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has been requested by the <br /> State of California, Department of Industrial Relations, to file <br /> annually, on or about October 1st, a determination of the general <br /> prevailing rates of per diem wages in the locality where public <br /> work is to be done; and <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the approving of specifications <br /> and agreements for public works within the City of Redwood City <br /> the prevailing per diem wage rate for each craft or type of <br /> workman or mechanic needed to execute the contract is determined <br /> by this Council; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That the City Engineer is hereby directed to transmit to <br /> the Director of Industrial Relations, Department of Industrial <br /> Relations, State of California, the determination of prevailing <br /> wage rates adopted by this Council in connection with the approval <br /> of specifications and agreements for public works. <br /> 2. That the City Engineer shall transmit such determinations <br /> to the director annually on or about October 1st and within ten <br /> (10) days of the adoption of any new or changed determination of <br /> prevailing wage rates. <br /> 3. That the City Engineer is hereby directed to immediately <br /> transmit to the director a copy of this resolution together with <br /> this Council's most recent determination of prevailing per diem <br /> rates. <br />
