REG:Yc:2/4/60_7 <br /> RESOLUTION N. 2991 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY TERMINATING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS DESIGNATED <br /> "EDGEWOOD ANNEXATION NO. 1 -B," INITIATED PURSUANT <br /> TO RESOLUTION NO. 2954 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 1 of <br /> Part 2, Division 2, Title 4 of the Government Code of the State <br /> of California relating to the annexation of uninhabited territory <br /> this Council, on its own motion, initiated proceedings to annex <br /> to the City of Redwood City certain uninhabited territory by the <br /> adoption of Resolution No. 2954 on January 7, 1960; and, <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of said Chapter 1, a <br /> public hearing for the hearing of protests to said annexation <br /> was set by said Resolution No. 2954 for February 29, 1960; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Section 35007 of the Government Code of the State <br /> of California authorizes this Council to terminate annexation <br /> proceedings at any time prior to the date set for the hearing <br /> of protests; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> 1. The Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby <br /> terminate all annexation proceedings taken in accordance with <br /> Edgewood Annexation No. 1 -B as initiated by Resolution No. 2954. <br /> * * * <br />
