OF A <br /> NEW BACKE-IO - LOADER FOR WA1 R DEFARTi 1 T USE; AND <br /> REJECTING ALL O 'rER _'-IDS RECEIVED <br /> 1: ERi AS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2874.., adopted September a <br /> 1959, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of a backhoe- <br /> loader, which equipment is necessary in connection with the performance <br /> of certain work by the Water Department of the City of Redwood City; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City 'Tanager; and <br /> W7EFEAS, Contractor's W_achinery Company, San Francisco, California, <br /> is the lowest responsible bidder meeting the specifications and it is <br /> the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to <br /> Contractor's ?achinery Company and reject all other bids received; <br /> E2 IT RESOLVED EY THR COUNCIL 0: TEL, CITY OF REDV`J000 CITY AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Contractor's T7achinery Company for the furnishing <br /> of a backhoe- loader to the City of Redwood City in accordance with <br /> specifications therefor at the price quoted in its proposal, to -wit: <br /> Seven Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety and 64/100 Dollars (7,79O.6L), <br /> is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be 'the <br /> lowest responsible bidder meeting the specifications. <br /> 2. Any and all bids received by tile City of _iedwood City for <br /> the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment other than the bid <br /> mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof are hereby rejected. <br />
