REG:yc :11; 13 59-7 <br /> R E S O L T J I U T NO. 2911 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING- CCIITRACT FUR FURI[IS- IIIG OF NEW <br /> AUTO1OBILES; AI'TD REJECTING: ALL OTHER 21 RECEIVED <br /> TJHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2887, adopted October 26, <br /> 1959, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of two new <br /> vehicles for municipal purposes to replace worn out equipment in <br /> accordance with specifications therefor; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City ] anager; and <br /> VIEREAS, Ferris Niles Equipment Co., Inc., Redwood City, <br /> California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the inten- <br /> tion and desire of this Council to award said bid to Ferris Miles <br /> Equipment Co., Inc. and reject all other bids received; <br /> r I_EREFORE : <br /> PE IT RESOLVED T?TE COu CIL Oh, 1 ' : CITY 02 REDO OD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLO'e; S : <br /> 1. The bid of Ferris files Equipment Co., Inc., for the <br /> furnishing of two new vehicles to the City of Redwood City, ac- <br /> cording to specifications heretofore approved by ' Resolution No. 2887, <br /> at the price quoted in its proposal, to -wit, Two Thousand Three <br /> Hundred Eighty -three and 02/100 Dollars (;2,383.02), is hereby ac- <br /> cepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest res- <br /> ponsible bidder. <br /> 2. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> City for the furnishing of the above mentioned vehicles to the <br /> City, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are <br /> hereby rejected. <br />
