R E S O L U T I ON N O. 2916 ORDERING MODIFICATION OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2801 JEFFERSON AVENUE WIDENING IMPROVEI'4ENTS (HIGHLAND AVENUE TO FARM HILL BLVD.) WHEREAS, Council of Redwood City on July 20, 1959, did adopt a Resolution of Intention toward certain improvements; and WHEREAS, on November 11, 1959, said Council did adopt a Resolution of Intention No. 2906 declaring its intention to modify and amend said Resolution of Intention No. 2801 to which resolution reference is hereby made for further particulars; and WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention No. 2906 was duly and regularly published in the manner required by law in the Redwood City Tribune, a daily (except Sunday) newspaper, which publication was more than ten days prior to the hearing on said Resolution of Intention No. 2906; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on November 23, 1959, on said Resolution of Intention No. 2906; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council of Redwood City, and said Council has acquired jurisdiction to order the modifications and amendments contained in said Resolution of Intention No. 2906; NOW, THERkThORE, IT IS RESOLVED by the Council of Redwood City as follows: 1. Said Council hereby orders that the amendments, modifications and changes in the work to be done under Resolution of Intention No. 2801 passed and adopted by the Council of Redwood City on July 20, 1959, as said amendments, modifications and changes are set out in Resolution of Intention No. 2906, passed and adopted on November 9, 1959, shall be made as follows, to -wit: (a) Reconstruct storm sewer manhole at approximately Station 9 plus 00. (b) Construct approximately 300 feet of drain trench with drain rock and connect to the existing sewer system in an area bounded by Stations 10 plus 00 to 15 plus 00. (c) Construct retaining walls to a modified design as shown on the plans and specifications made therefor on file in the Office of the City Clerk and identified as: Revision to Retaining Wall, Station 3 plus 77.15 to Station 4 plus 55.90 and Return, Sheet "A -3 ", and Reinf. Conc. Retaining Wall ECR Dover Road to Station 9 plus 30 Jefferson Avenue, Sheet "A-5", and delete from all of the work of construction as set forth in Items 10 and 11 in Contractor's Accepted Proposal and to substitute therefor the retaining wall to be con- structed as described hereinbefore. 2.
