... - RFG:yc :12 /10f 59 -7 <br /> R E S O L U T I ON N 0. <br /> 2931 <br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING STREET SUPER - <br /> INTENDENT TO ABATE WEED TJUISANCE <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No, 2919, adopted by the Council of <br /> Redwood City on November 23, 1959, said Council declared weeds <br /> growing upon all of the sidewalks, streets, avenues, roads, <br /> boulevards and highways, and upon all of the lots and property <br /> in the City of Redwood City to be a nuisance, and ordered their <br /> abatement; and <br /> WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 2919 ordered a public hearing <br /> to hear any objections to the removal of said weeds on December 1L., <br /> 1959; and <br /> WHEREAS, due notice of such hearing was given as required <br /> by Ordinance No. 748 of the City of Redwood City; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That all protests, oral and written, to the removal of <br /> any weeds and the abatement of same declared to be a nuisance by <br /> Resolution No. 2919 of the Council of Redwood City, are hereby <br /> overruled. <br /> 2. That the Street Superintendent of Redwood City be, and <br /> he hereby is, directed to remove, or cause to be removed, all the <br /> weeds declared to be a nuisance by said Resolution No. 2919 at the <br /> expense of the owners of the lots or property upon which, or in <br /> front of which, such nuisance exists. <br /> 3. That the Street Superintendent of Redwood City be, and <br /> he hereby is, ordered and directed to keep an itemized account of <br /> the cost of abating such nuisance as provided by Ordinance No. 748 <br /> of the City of Redwood City. <br />
