1 411 411 REG:yc : -7 R E S O L U T I ON N 0. 2 9 4 5 RESOLUTION VACATING A PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article 5 (commencing at Section 50430) of Chapter 2, Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the Government Code, the Council of the City of Redwood City has, by its Resolution No. 2924, adopted December 7, 19 declared its inten- tion to vacate a portion of an easement designated as such on that map entitled "Steven Tract," recorded in Book 48 of Haps at Page 43, Records of San Iateo County, State of California; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions, notice has been published and the portion of the easement to be vacated has been posted; and WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY Or REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOU S : 1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds (a) that the hereinafter described portion of a public service easement has not been used for public service easement purposes since the date of its designation as such and that (b) the easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public use. 2. The portion of the easement to be vacated is described as follows: That certain five (5) foot wire clearance easement and the northeasterly five (5) feet of the ten (10) foot public utilities easement which extends along the south - westerly boundary line of Lot 10 of Block 2; said wire clearance easement, public utilities easement, Lot 10 and Block 2 are shown upon that certain map of Steven Tract, recorded in Book 48 of Maps at page 43, Records of San Mateo County, State of California. 3. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby orders the vacation of the above described easement. 4. The City Clerk of the City of Redwood City is hereby au- thorized to execute such documents as may be necessary to evidence
