1 <br /> 411 411 <br /> REG:yc : -7 <br /> R E S O L U T I ON N 0. 2 9 4 5 <br /> RESOLUTION VACATING A PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article 5 (commencing <br /> at Section 50430) of Chapter 2, Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the <br /> Government Code, the Council of the City of Redwood City has, by its <br /> Resolution No. 2924, adopted December 7, 19 declared its inten- <br /> tion to vacate a portion of an easement designated as such on that <br /> map entitled "Steven Tract," recorded in Book 48 of Haps at Page 43, <br /> Records of San Iateo County, State of California; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions, notice has been published <br /> and the portion of the easement to be vacated has been posted; and <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY Or REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOU S : <br /> 1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds (a) that the <br /> hereinafter described portion of a public service easement has not <br /> been used for public service easement purposes since the date of <br /> its designation as such and that (b) the easement is unnecessary <br /> for present or prospective public use. <br /> 2. The portion of the easement to be vacated is described as <br /> follows: <br /> That certain five (5) foot wire clearance easement and <br /> the northeasterly five (5) feet of the ten (10) foot <br /> public utilities easement which extends along the south - <br /> westerly boundary line of Lot 10 of Block 2; said wire <br /> clearance easement, public utilities easement, Lot 10 <br /> and Block 2 are shown upon that certain map of Steven <br /> Tract, recorded in Book 48 of Maps at page 43, Records <br /> of San Mateo County, State of California. <br /> 3. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby orders the <br /> vacation of the above described easement. <br /> 4. The City Clerk of the City of Redwood City is hereby au- <br /> thorized to execute such documents as may be necessary to evidence <br />
