REG:yc:11 /2/59-7 <br /> � <br /> r r <br /> R E S O L U T I O N IT O. 2892 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDIiTG LID FOR THE FURNISHING AND <br /> I `STALL TION OF ONE STORK WATER FUi`-'1P, REDWOOD INDUS- <br /> TRIAL TRACT 110. 2; A D REJECTING ALL OTHER LIDS RECEIVED <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2881, adopted October 5, <br /> 1959, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing and <br /> installation of one 66 HP vertical column pump, together with <br /> appurtenances, necessary in connection with the pumphouse, Redwood <br /> Industrial Tract No. 2; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City l°ianager; and <br /> WHEREAS, Pump Repair Service Company, Inc., 690 Tennessee <br /> Street, San Francisco, Caliiornia, is the lowest responsible bidder <br /> and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> bid to Pump Repair Service Company, Inc. and reject all other bids <br /> received; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> DE IT RESOLVED rY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Pump Repair Service Company, Inc. for the <br /> furnishing and installation of one 66 HP vertical column pump, <br /> together with appurtenances, necessary in connection with the <br /> pumphouse, Redwood Industrial Tract No. 2, to the City of Redwood <br /> City in accordance with specifications therefor at the price quoted <br /> in its proposal, to -wit: Five Thousand Hine Hundred Dollars <br /> (5,900), is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared <br /> to be the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> 2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment other than <br /> the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />
