REG:yc :10/23/59-7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 28 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br /> AGREEMENT FOR RELOCATION OF PUBLIC UTILITY FACILITIES <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to authorization of the City Council, <br /> portions of Jefferson Avenue in the City of Redwood City are <br /> presently being widened; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Pacific Gas and Electric Company is the owner of <br /> gas and electric facilities within the area subject to the construc - <br /> tion work on Jefferson Avenue; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the orderly progress of said construction requires <br /> the relocation of Pacific Gas and Electric Company's facilities; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to <br /> enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> that certain agreement between the City of Redwood City and <br /> Pacific Gas and Electric Company pertaining to the relocation <br /> of the Pacific Gas and Electric Company's utility facilities and <br /> providing the preservation of existing rights of both parties, a <br /> copy of which agreement is presently on file in the office of the <br /> City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br /> particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof. <br />
