• 1 R E S O L U T I O N 1 .i . 2877 R SOLUTION OF rUBLIC CONVE NIEWjCE .01; :,ECES=ITY BAYSHORE INDUSTRIAL PARK NO. 1 .HERriAS, on September 14 , 19 5 9 , the Council of the City of Reduood City adopted a resolution preliminary determination to make public improvements in the City of Redwood City, being Resolution No. 2870 of said Council, to construct certain ?public improvements mo pa rticularly described therein, and did fix therein this date as the time and place when and where any and all persons interested may appear and show cause, if any they have, why the City Council should not find and determine that the public convenience and necessity require the im_�rovements described and referred to in said resolution without comnliance witn the Special Assessment, Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931; and WHEREAS notice of the adoption of said resolution and of said time and place of hearing was given by the City Clerk by publica- tion and posting for the time and in the manner provided in said resolution and Ordinance No. 515 of the City of Redwood City, as E from the affidavits on file with the City Clerk; and I1HEREAS no persons objecting to the undertaking of said pro- ceedings without first complying with the provisions of said Special Assessment, Investigation, Limitation, and Majority Protest Act of 1931 have filed written objections thereto with the City Clerk at or before the time fixed for this hearing by persons interested, owning or having an interest in real property within the proposed assessment district, bearing their signatures, a descri -tion of their property, and a statement of the nature of their interest therein; and dHEREAS all persons hE.ve been given an opportunity to be and were fully heard, and said Council has duly considered any and all objections and protests made, and the said proposed improvements and the public convenience and necessity for making the same; NOvi, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Council of Red - wood City, as follows: 1. That public convenience and necessity require the improvements described in said Resolution No. 2870 2. That any and all objections and protests made pursuant to said resolution be, and the same are, hereby overruled and denied. 3. That the improvements described in said resolution be made under and pursuant to the provisions of Article II -A of the Redwood City Improvement Procedure Ordinance, being Ordinance #333 of said city, adopted March 14, 1932, as amended, and that the Special Assessment, Investigation, Limitation and iajority Protest Act of 1931 shall not apply to said proceedings. * * ,.
