RESOLUTION NO.6I7 <br /> RESOLUTION FIXING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE <br /> JOHNSON STREET 1948 -4 <br /> WHEREAS the City Engineer of the City of Redwood City <br /> has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages <br /> in the locality in which said public work is proposed to be <br /> performed for work of a similar character to that described <br /> in Resolution of Intention No. 610, adopted August 30, 1948, <br /> by the City Council of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHE;REAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and <br /> contained in the specifications for said project, copies of <br /> which are on file in the office of said City Engineer and also <br /> in the office of the City Clerk of said city; and <br /> WHEREAS the City Council of Redwood City has duly con- <br /> sidered said scale and finds the same to be correct in all <br /> particulars; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br /> the City of Redwood City, as follows: <br /> 1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifica- <br /> tions for the above - mentioned project is hereby adopted as the <br /> prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar charac- <br /> ter to that above described in the locality in which said public <br /> work is proposed to be performed. <br /> 2. That not less than said general prevailing rate of <br /> per diem wages shall be paid for any work proposed to be per- <br /> formed under said Resolution of Intention No. 610. <br />
