• • <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 875 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT <br /> POPLAR, VIRGINIA AND JUNIPERO AVENUES <br /> WHEREAS the Council of the City of Redwood City did, <br /> in open session, on May 1 5, 1950 , publicly open, <br /> examine, and declare all sealed proposals or bide for doing <br /> all the work and making all the improvements described in <br /> Resolution of Intention No. 858 of said Council, passed and <br /> adopted by said Council on April 171950 , to <br /> which resolution reference is hereby made for further pa.rti. <br /> culars; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED that said Council of the City of Redwood <br /> City hereby rejects all said proposals or bids except that <br /> next herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for <br /> doing said work and making said improvements to the lowest, <br /> regular, responsible bidder, to wit: <br /> Peter Sorensen <br /> at the prices named in his bid, to which bid reference <br /> is hereby ,made for further particulars. <br /> The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish a notice <br /> of this award in the Redwood City Tribune, a daily newspaper <br /> (except Sunday), published, printed and circulated in said <br /> City of Redwood City, and hereby designated for that purpose <br /> by the Council of said City. <br /> * * 4's <br />
