08/27/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14326 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR CLARA -MATEO HOMELESS REHABILITATION SHELTER <br />(CLARA -MATEO ALLIANCE, INC.) <br />WHEREAS, Clara -Mateo Alliance, Inc., is a private, non -profit organization that <br />provides a homeless rehabilitation shelter program for homeless individuals, couples and <br />families, which services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br />WHEREAS, Clara -Mateo Alliance, Inc., has requested financial assistance for use by it <br />in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001 and ending June 30, <br />2002; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate <br />to Contractor, the sum of Fifteen Thousand and no /100 Dollars ($15,000.00) from the <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said agreement and <br />authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />8/15/01 <br />
