RD-85-02 RD 85-02 JUL 1 1985 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING ASSIGNMENT OF EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO <br /> NEGOTIATE AND EXTENDING THE TERM THEREOF ( MARINA <br /> REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to paragraph 6 of the Exclusive Right to <br />Negotiate entered into on June 21, 1982, between the <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City and Diversified <br />Marina Enterprises ("DME"), DME has requested this Agency to <br />approve the assignment of its rights under said Exclusive Right <br />to Negotiate to Mardev Properties, a California general <br />partnership composed of W & K Development Company, successor in <br />interest to DME, and Christiana Investment Realty; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, DME/Mardev has further requested this Agency to <br />extend the term of the Exclusive Right to Negotiate for an <br />additional four (4) months to, and including, October 30, 1985, <br />for the purpose of further negotiations toward a Disposition and <br />Development Agreement for development of the Marina Project Area; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Agency to approve the <br />requested assignment and to further approve the requested <br /> <br />extension of the term of the Exclusive Right to Negotiate; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />ACTING AS THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Agency hereby approves the assignment by <br />Diversified Marina Enterprises to Mardev Properties of DME's <br />rights in that certain agreement entitled, "Exclusive Right to <br /> <br /> <br />
