7 MWT t CGM:yc :5 /6/71 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> Wt/ 10 '71 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 6/ <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br /> ONE TRUCK CRANE, LATEST MODEL <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6489, adopted April 19, <br /> 1971, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of one <br /> truck crane, latest, model, to be used for municipal purposes; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, UTILITY BODY COMPANY, Berkeley, California, is <br /> the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said truck <br /> crane, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> award said bid to said Utility Body Company; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Utility Body Company, in the total net <br /> delivered price to the City of Redwood City of Two Thousand <br /> Seven Hundred Fifty -eight and 88/100 Dollars ($2,758.88), for <br /> the furnishing of one truck crane, in accordance with the <br /> specifications therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the <br /> furnishing of said equipment. <br /> 2. Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> hereof are hereby waived. <br /> 3. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> City for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, other <br /> than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> * * * <br />
