° • DES:yc :4 /30/71 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> M4Y 3 'j1. <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 4O i94 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCHANGE OF REAL PROPERTY IN <br /> CONNECTION WITH PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC <br /> IMPROVEMENTS (ROLISON ROAD EXTENSION) <br /> c <br /> WHEREAS, this Council requires the acquisition of that <br /> certain parcel of real property more particularly described in <br /> "Exhibit A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br /> incorporated herein in connection with the construction of certain <br /> public improvements consisting of the extension of Rolison Road <br /> in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the acquisition of the above <br /> mentioned parcel of real property, it has been proposed that the <br /> City acquire said parcel in exchange for the conveyance to the <br /> owner of said parcel of that certain City -owned parcel of real <br /> property more particularly described in "Exhibit B" hereof, <br /> attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that the afore- <br /> said City -owned parcel of real property described in "Exhibit B" <br /> hereof is not needed for present or prospective municipal or <br /> public purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Assessor of the City of Redwood City has, <br /> pursuant to. the provisions of subdivision (h) of Section 3 -1/2 <br /> of the Charter of the City of Redwood City made an appraisal of <br /> all the property included within the proposed exchange and has <br /> found that the value of the property to be received by the City <br /> equals the value of the property to be disposed of; • <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That this Council hereby finds that the value of the <br /> property described in "Exhibit A" hereof to be received by the <br /> • <br />
