• DES : yC,: 4/26/71 <br /> • <br /> ORIGI'tML <br /> APR 26 11 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 692 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH SAN FRANCISCO FORTY NINERS FOR COST <br /> PARTICIPATION FOR FOOTBALL PRACTICE AND TRAINING <br /> AREA IMPROVEMENTS ON CERTAIN CITY -OWNED PREMISES <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the San Francisco <br /> Forty Niners have heretofore entered into a lease agreement <br /> dated April 15, 1965, as amended, under which the San Francisco <br /> Forty Niners have the exclusive use and occupancy during certain <br /> designated months of each year, of certain City -owned premises <br /> therein described for use as a football practice and training <br /> area; and <br /> WHEREAS, said football practice and training area requires <br /> the installation and construction of certain improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the San Francisco <br /> Forty Niners propose to share the cost of constructing and <br /> installing said improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agree- <br /> ment by and between the City of Redwood City and the San Francisco <br /> Forty Niners for cost participation for the above mentioned <br /> construction and installation; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> approve said agreement, subject to certain terms and conditions, <br /> and to authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Cost Participation <br /> - Football Practice and Training Area Improvements," by and between <br /> the City of Redwood City and the San Francisco Forty Niners, a <br /> limited partnership, a copy of which is presently on file in the <br /> office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br />
