. . • CGM:yc :4 /23/71 <br /> r <br /> . - ORIGINAL <br /> APR 26 11 <br /> RE SOLUT I ON NO. 6419 <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE EASEMENT FOR SEWER <br /> AND DRAINAGE PURPOSES IN LOT 12, BLOCK 204, "HIGHLANDS <br /> OF EMERALD LAKE - SUBDIVISION TWO" <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has been advised that the hereinafter <br /> described easement is no longer necessary or needed for public <br /> municipal purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the easement which is no longer necessary or needed <br /> for public purposes is a sewer and drainage easement located in <br /> Lot 12, Block 204, "Highlands of Emerald Lake - Subdivision Two" <br /> on that map recorded in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo <br /> County, October 18, 1926, in Volume 14 of Maps at pages 37 and <br /> 38; and <br /> WHEREAS, said easement is unnecessary for present or prospec- <br /> tive public use; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article 5 (commencing at §50430) of Chapter 2, <br /> Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the Government Code provides a <br /> procedure for the vacation of easements by local authorities; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby declares <br /> its intention to vacate the aforesaid described easement for <br /> sewer and drainage purposes pursuant to the aforementioned <br /> Government Code provisions. <br /> 2. The above mentioned easement which is to be vacated is <br /> described as follows: <br /> All that real property situate in the City of Redwood <br /> City, County of San Mateo, State of California, more <br /> particularly described as follows: <br /> A portion of that easement for drain and sewer, ten <br /> feet (10.00') in width, lying within Lot 12, Block 204, <br />
