• DES:yc:4 /9/71 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> 60g* <br /> APR 12 '71 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES <br /> CORPORATION FOR CONSULTING SERVICES IN CONNECTION <br /> WITH COMPUTER PROGRAMMING <br /> WHEREAS, the City requires certain consulting services in <br /> connection with the programming, documenting, and implementing <br /> computerization of the City's utility billing system in accord- <br /> ance with programming specifications heretofore established; and <br /> WHEREAS, International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) <br /> represents that it is qualified to furnish such services, and <br /> proposes to furnish the same; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to contract with IBM as an <br /> independent contractor for the furnishing of said services; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement entitled "IBM Service Estimate," <br /> dated March 23, 1971, a copy of which is on file in the office <br /> of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br /> the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same <br /> for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />
