08/27/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14324 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR CHILDCARE PROGRAM FOR LOW INCOME FAMILIES <br />(TRI- CITIES CHILDREN'S CENTER, INC.) <br />WHEREAS, Tri- cities Children's Center, Inc, (Contractor) conducts a childcare <br />program for low income families of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br />Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2002; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Five Thousand and no /100 Dollars ($5,000.00) from its <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Childcare Program For Low <br />Income Families," (form dated 8/15/01), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br />the Tri- cities Children's Center, Inc, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof is <br />8/15/01 <br />
