ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> (Pacific Electric Contracting Inc.) <br /> THI AGREEMENT is made and entered into as of the 7 day of <br /> , 2011 by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter <br /> city n mu icipal corporation of the State of California ( "City "), and Pacific <br /> Electric Contracting Inc. ( "Contractor") <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. City requires Contractor's services. <br /> B. Contractor has the necessary experience in providing professional services <br /> and advice. <br /> C. Selection of Contractor is expected to achieve the desired results in an <br /> expedited fashion. <br /> D. Contractor has submitted a proposal to City and has affirmed its willingness <br /> and ability to perform such work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual <br /> covenants contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Scope of Work and Time for Performance. Contractor shall perform <br /> everything required to be performed, shall provide and furnish all of the <br /> labor, equipment, materials, and tools to perform, within thirty (30) <br /> calendar days after the NOTICE TO PROCEED, the following work: <br /> EMERGENCY VEHICLE PREEMPTION PROJECT (2010) <br /> JEFFERSON AVENUE — MARSHALL STREET, REDWOOD CITY <br /> in strict accordance with the Plans, Contract Documents and <br /> Specifications pertaining thereto as described in Exhibit "A ", attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein, signed by the Manager, Engineering and <br /> Construction of Redwood City, which Documents are incorporated herein <br /> and made a part of this Agreement as if herein fully set forth. <br /> 2. Compensation. City shall pay to Contractor, as full consideration for the <br /> faithful performance by Contractor of the aforementioned work, the <br /> amount of Sixteen thousand seven hundred twenty nine and 00/100 <br /> Dollars ($16,729.00) computed in accordance with Contractor's accepted <br /> Proposal dated December 15, 2010 which accepted Proposal is <br /> incorporated herein by reference thereto as if herein fully set forth. <br />
