ORIGINAL AGREEMENT (Pacific Electric Contracting Inc.) THI AGREEMENT is made and entered into as of the 7 day of , 2011 by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city n mu icipal corporation of the State of California ( "City "), and Pacific Electric Contracting Inc. ( "Contractor") RECITALS A. City requires Contractor's services. B. Contractor has the necessary experience in providing professional services and advice. C. Selection of Contractor is expected to achieve the desired results in an expedited fashion. D. Contractor has submitted a proposal to City and has affirmed its willingness and ability to perform such work. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: 1. Scope of Work and Time for Performance. Contractor shall perform everything required to be performed, shall provide and furnish all of the labor, equipment, materials, and tools to perform, within thirty (30) calendar days after the NOTICE TO PROCEED, the following work: EMERGENCY VEHICLE PREEMPTION PROJECT (2010) JEFFERSON AVENUE — MARSHALL STREET, REDWOOD CITY in strict accordance with the Plans, Contract Documents and Specifications pertaining thereto as described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and incorporated herein, signed by the Manager, Engineering and Construction of Redwood City, which Documents are incorporated herein and made a part of this Agreement as if herein fully set forth. 2. Compensation. City shall pay to Contractor, as full consideration for the faithful performance by Contractor of the aforementioned work, the amount of Sixteen thousand seven hundred twenty nine and 00/100 Dollars ($16,729.00) computed in accordance with Contractor's accepted Proposal dated December 15, 2010 which accepted Proposal is incorporated herein by reference thereto as if herein fully set forth.
