RDA-88-01 RD-88-01 <br /> <br />- RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF PRELIMINARY <br /> REDEVELOPMENT PLAN, DIRECTING STAFF TO PREPARE OFFICIAL <br /> REDEVELOPMENT PLAN, AND MAKING DETERMINATION PURSUANT <br /> TO SECTION 33385 OF THE HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has submitted to the Agency <br /> <br /> its Resolution No. 88-1 selecting an expanded project area for <br /> <br /> Redevelopment Project No. 2, as heretofore expanded, and <br /> <br /> formulating a Preliminary Plan therefor; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br /> ACTING AS THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The Agency acknowledges receipt from the Planning <br /> Commission of the "Preliminary Plan for Proposed Amendment to <br /> Redevelopment Plan No. 2 and Expansion of Project Area" dated <br /> <br /> January 1988. <br /> <br /> 2. Staff is directed to undertake the procedures required <br /> for adoption of the official redevelopment plan. <br /> <br /> 3. The Agency hereby determines that there will not be a <br /> substantial number of low-income and moderate-income families <br /> displaced by the proposed expansion of the project area nor by <br /> the contemplated amendment to the Plan, and that the formation of <br /> a project area committee is not required. Accordingly the Agency <br /> staff is directed to consult with, and obtain the advice of, <br /> residents and community organizations within the Project Area, <br /> and otherwise to comply with Section 33385 of the Health and <br /> Safety Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
