08/27/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1 A I S 1 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH FAMILY SERVICE AGENCY <br />WHEREAS, Family Service Agency is a private, non - profit organization that <br />provides a variety of services for individuals and families including the operation of <br />the Fair Oaks Senior Center Program, which services are in furtherance of the public <br />health, welfare and benefit; and <br />WHEREAS, Family Service Agency has requested financial assistance for use <br />by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001 and <br />ending June 30, 2002; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires <br />to enter into an agreement with Family Service Agency to provide financial <br />assistance in furtherance of its public purposes; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood City and Family <br />Service Agency, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute the same on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />Reso -0114 <br />F:/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />FXS -dr <br />08/02/01 <br />
