411 411 <br /> DES:yc:4/9/73 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> S E 3 APR 9 73 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 6� �7GJ <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH SAN MATEO COUNTY ECONOMIC <br /> OPPORTUNITY COMMISSION AND "PROBE" COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and "PROBE" Community <br /> Center have heretofore entered into an agreement dated July 17, <br /> 1972, under which the City provides funds to the San Mateo County <br /> Economic Opportunity Commission for use by "PROBE" Community <br /> Center for activities of general benefit to the City of Redwood <br /> City; and <br /> WHEREAS, "PROBE" Community Center likewise depends upon funds <br /> from the Federal Government in carrying out its activities; and <br /> WHEREAS, said Federal funds are no longer being furnished <br /> to "PROBE" Community Center, and the source of funding for the <br /> bulk of "PROBE" Community Center' s activities remains uncertain; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, this City desires that "PROBE" Community Center <br /> continue its activities through the City' s fiscal year ending <br /> June 30, 1973; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for <br /> approval a supplemental agreement between the City of Redwood <br /> City, the San Mateo County Economic Opportunity Commission, and <br /> "PROBE" Community Center, and it is the intention and desire of <br /> this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Supplemental Agreement - <br /> ' PROBE' Community Center, " by and between the City of Redwood City, <br /> the San Mateo County Economic Opportunity Commission, and "PROBE" <br /> Community Center, a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br />
