MSR: It : 1/2/73 RESOLUT I ON N0. 6870 FEB 12, 74 RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING AND INSTALLA- TION OF PVC FLOORING AT RED MORTON COMMUNITY PARK RECREATION CENTER; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6848 adopted December 11, 1972, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing and installa- tion of PVC flooring at the Red Morton Community Park Recreation Center Building; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said - call, bids were received and filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing and installation of said equipment; and WHEREAS, STUART FLOOR CO., Redwood City, California, is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing and installation of said equipment, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to STUART FLOOR CO:.; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The bid of STUART FLOOR CO., in the total net delivered price to the City of Redwood City of six thousand seven hundred thirty -four and no /100 dollars ($6,734.00) for the furnishing and installation of PVC flooring at the Red Morton Community Park Recreation Center Building, in accordance with the specifications therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing and installa- tion of said equipment. 2. Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof are hereby waived. 3. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood City for the furnishing and installation of the above mentioned equipment, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof,'are hereby rejected.
