0 REG:yc:1/25/65 -7 <br />RE S GLUT ION NO. 4540 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF GASOLINE FOR THE PERIOD MARCH 1, <br />1965 - FEBRUARY 28, 1966: AND AUTHORIZING <br />CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the operation of City vehicles <br />it is necessary to enter into a contract for the supplying of <br />gasoline for the period March 1, 1965 - February 28, 1966; and <br />WHEREAS, specifications for the types of, and estimated <br />amounts of, gasoline required for such period have been prepared <br />by the City Manager; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Those certain specifications for gasoline to be used <br />by the City of Redwood City for the period March�:l, 1965 - <br />February 28, 1966, prepared by the City Manager and on file in <br />the office of the City Manager, are hereby approved. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />advertise for bids for the furnishing of said gasoline in <br />accordance with the specifications therefor, said advertisement <br />to be in the form of that certain Notice of Sealed Bids set <br />forth in the above mentioned specifications. <br />
