REG:yc:2 /1/65 -7 <br />R E S 0 L U T I O N N 0. 4538 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF REMODELING <br />OF A PORTION OF THE BASEMENT A13EA OF THE REDWOOD CITY <br />POLICE BUILDING; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 4503, adopted January 4, <br />1965, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of the <br />remodeling of a portion of the basement area of the Redwood City <br />Police Building; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br />with the City Manager; and <br />WHEREAS, HEART CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, Redwood City, California, <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br />of this Council to award said bid to Heart Construction Company, <br />and 'reject all other bids received; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Heart Construction Company, in t- amount <br />of Fifteen Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty -three Dollars ($15,883), <br />more or less, for the construction of the remodeling of a portion <br />of the basement area of the Redwood City Police Building, accord- <br />ing to the plans and specifications heretofore approved by <br />Resolution No. 4503, at the price quoted in its proposal dated <br />�i , 19 is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br />O <br />hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder. <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br />for the construction of aforementioned work other than the bid <br />mentioned in paragraph 1, hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />3.
