Council discussed gross receipts approach, flat rate and <br /> uniform fees, impact on cottage industries, comparison with other cities <br /> and economic trends. <br /> M /S: La Berge /Buchan to direct staff to draft ordinance according to <br /> recommendations of the Chamber of Commerce and schedule public hearings <br /> and presentations. <br /> Carried by the following voice vote: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Buchan, Bury, Claire, LaBerge, Murray and <br /> Mayor Greenalch <br /> NOES: Councilman Stangel <br />
