110 !II <br /> M I N U T E O R D E R <br /> March 19, 1990 <br /> MO: 90 -030 <br /> CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br /> Redwood City <br /> DATE: March 21, 1990 <br /> Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> City Council <br /> SUBJECT: Legislative Committee Report No. 90 -1 <br /> Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on March 19, 1990 <br /> Present: Councilmembers Buchan, Bury, Claire, Murray, LaBerge, Stangel and <br /> Mayor Greenalch <br /> Absent: None <br /> The following motion was made and entered on the minutes: <br /> Legislative Committee Report No. 90 -1 <br /> a. Aids Anti - Discrimination Ordinance <br /> Vice Mayor La Berge advised she would be meeting with Supervisor Nolan <br /> and request further information regarding the need for a city ordinance <br /> when the County has already adopted one. <br /> Recommendation: Continue review of Aids Anti - Discrimination <br /> Ordinance <br /> b. Regulation of Construction Noise <br /> Councilman Bury advised the proposed ordinance was distributed to the BIA <br /> and BTC for comment, and apparently there are no strong objections. <br /> Recommendation: Introduce ordinance regulating construction noise <br /> c. Traffic Congestion Relief Measures - SCA 1 and <br /> Costa Bond Measure <br /> Recommendation: a) Support SCA 1 and the Costa Bond Measure, and <br /> b) Support designation of San Mateo County <br />
