ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES - <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS <br /> <br /> (SYUFY PROJECT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 14th day of July,2003, <br />by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City"), and Wagstaff and Associates <br />("Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires an environmental analysis in order to understand the <br />potential significance of environmental impact associated with development of 600 <br />residential units, 8,300 square feet of retail space and other amenities (the "Project"); <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of an Initial Study is <br />required pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Res. Code <br />§21000 et seq.), the State Guidelines irnplementive thereof ("State CEQA Guidelines"; <br />14 CCR {}15000, et seq.) and the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the completion of the Initial Study, the Project may be <br />subject to environmental review pursuant to CEQA; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Syufy Enterprises has agreed to pay for the Initial Study and <br />subsequent environmental review and preparation of documents (the "Environmental <br />Review"); and <br /> <br />F:Atty/Ag r/Ag r. 114 '1 <br />050103 <br /> <br /> <br />
