AGREEMENT <br /> FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES <br /> [MARK THOMAS & COMPANY, INC.] <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~-~dday of July, 2003, by and <br />between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the <br />State of California ("City"), and MARK THOMAS & COMPANY, INC. ("Consultant") <br />(collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to undertake the reconfiguration of the Ralston <br />Avenue/Marine Parkway/Route 101 Interchange in the City of Redwood City (the <br />"Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires supplemental <br />professional engineering design consulting and construction services support; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform the Ralston <br />Avenue/Marine Parkway/Route 101 Interchange Reconfiguration Project and related <br />services further described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br />incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT.
