A <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on August 11,2003. <br /> <br />Present: Council Member Hartnett, Howard, Jordan, Pierce, Vice Mayor Ira <br />and Mayor Claire <br /> <br />Absent: Council Member Ruskin <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes <br /> <br />That the City Council formally approve a broadly-defined recycled water project <br />that delivers recycled water for non-potable uses in a way that is both cost- <br />effective and respectful of the concerns expressed by City residents: <br /> <br />M/S HartnettJHoward 1.) Adopt a resolution approving the Redwood City <br />Recycled Water Project and associated facilities <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 14547 OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING THE <br />REDWOOD CITY RECYCLED WATER PROJECT AND ASSOCIATED FACILITIES <br /> <br />The motion passed by a majority roll call vote, with Counicl Member Jordan <br />voting no, and Council Member Ruskin absent. <br /> <br />M/S Ira/Pierce 2.) By motion, cause the formation of a broad-based community <br />task force for the purpose of exploring other, financially feasible approaches that <br />may be able to deliver recycled water to different types of sites in different <br />phases than presently envisioned. Motion includes revisions to memorandum <br />dated August 7, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />
