AGREEMENT <br /> FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> [BEALS SPORT] <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this I~ day of <br /> ~, 2003, and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, charter by <br /> a <br /> <br />city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and BEALS SPORT, a <br />division of Beals Alliance, Inc. ("Consultant"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to improve the sport field at Fair Oaks Elementary <br />School in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />landscape, architectural, and Civil Engineering design services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform landscape, <br />architectural, and Civil Engineering design and related services described in Exhibit "A" <br />hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an amount based <br />upon Consultant's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the performance of <br />said services.
