09/10/01 <br />O F&JOLUTIOb. 14372 <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING AND AUTHORIZING <br />CALIFORNIA STATE OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT TO <br />PURCHASE CERTAIN HEREIN DESCRIBED VEHICLES AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br />THEREFOR <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Pursuant to the provisions of Redwood City Code Section 2.80 and <br />Public Contracts Code Section 10324, this Council does hereby authorize and <br />request the Office of Procurement of the State of California to purchase under <br />Contract No. 1- 01- 23 -20, on behalf of the City of Redwood City, certain materials, <br />supplies and equipment, to wit one (1) 2001/2002 Model Utility Vehicle <br />conforming to specifications of the Department of Public Works Services and Fire <br />Department of the City of Redwood City. <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute and <br />deliver all necessary requests and other purchase documents required (in form <br />approved by the City Attorney) to effectuate the purchase approved hereby. <br />F:Atty2001 Shared /Redwood /Council /Reso /Reso-1234 1 <br />
