- AGREEMENT _.v ORIGIN^iL <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL SURVEYING SERVICES- JEFFERSON AVENUE-MADISON <br /> AVENUE SEWER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this~7/-/...3i~-~ day of <br /> ~v~ c~v~..._ , 1997, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and SANDIS HUMBER <br />JONES, INC., of Mountain View, California (uConsultant"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires the replacement of old and deteriorated sewer <br />mains along Jefferson Avenue and Madison Avenue in the City of Redwood City <br />(the uProject'); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />topographic surveying services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall prepare a topographic <br />survey and related services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and <br />by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an amount <br />based upon Consultant's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the <br />performance of said services.
