-- ORIGi AL <br /> (O3/03/97) <br /> <br /> Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ ~ ~ day of <br /> .~'v~.L_~ , 1997, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Target Education and Welfare Council,Inc., a <br />California nonprofit corporation ("Contractor"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides services to seniors to the residents of the target <br />community; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the program <br />for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing January 1, 1997, and ending June 30, <br />1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Fifteen Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($15,000); <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. ~. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Fifteen <br />Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($15,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal <br />year commencing January 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1997, solely for the purposes <br />described in paragraph Z. <br /> <br /> 2. ~. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to paragraph 1 <br />solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibit "A" (Contract Objectives) attached hereto <br />and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 3. ~[~J~:[~. No changes in the Program described in this agreement <br />which are funded by the financial assistance provided under paragraph 1 shall be made without <br />the prior written consent of City. <br /> <br /> <br />
