AG EME; <br /> for <br /> EMERGENCY SHELTER PROGRAM - SPRING STREET SHELTER <br /> <br /> (MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this c~L~L-day of <br /> ~j~..I.~.~,._ 1997, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br /> municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), MENTAL HEALTH <br /> ASSOCIATION OF SAN MATEO COUNTY, a California nonprofit corporation <br /> ("Contractor"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts an emergency shelter program for <br />single persons with mental disabilities who reside in the City (the "Program"); <br />and <br /> <br /> VVHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to <br />Contractor the sum of Thirteen Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($13,300.00) <br /> <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Thirteen Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($13,300.00) for exclusive use by <br />Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997, and ending June <br />30, 1998, solely for the purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br /> <br />
