T AGREEMENT is made and entered into as of the � day of , 201L, by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter cit municipal cbrporation of the State of California ("City"), and INTE AC ERVICES INC. ("Contractor") RECITALS A. City requires Contractor's services. B. Contractor has the necessary experience in providing professional services and advice. C. Selection of Contractor is expected to achieve the desired results in an expedited fashion. D. Contractor has submitted a proposal to City and has affirmed its willingness and ability to perform such work. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: 1. Scope of Work and Time for Performance. Contractor shall perform everything required to be performed, shall provide and furnish all of the labor, equipment, materials, and tools to perform, within thirty (30) calendar days after the NOTICE TO PROCEED, the following work: 2011 CIVIC FACILITIES CARPET REPLACEMENT PROJECT (Sandpiper Community Center, Police Facility, Fire Station No. 12, Fire Station No. 9, Main Library, Red Morton Community Center) in strict accordance with the Plans, Contract Documents and Specifications pertaining thereto as described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein, signed by the Manager, Engineering and Construction of Redwood City, which Documents are incorporated herein and made a part of this Agreement as if herein fully set forth. . 2. Compensation.
