RD-94-25 RD 94-25 RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING FIVE-YEAR IMPLEMENTATION PLAN PURSUANT TO SECTION 33490 OF THE HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE WHEREAS, by statutes enacted in 1993 (AB 1290) and in 1994 (SB 732) the Legislature added Section 33490 to the Health and Safety Code and then amended the same; and WHEREAS, Section 33490 requires each redevelopment agency that has adopted a redevelopment plan prior to December 31, 1993, to adopt, after a public hearing and on or before December 31, 1994, a five-year implementation plan for each project area; and WHEREAS, such implementation plan is required to set forth, in the detail specified in Section 33490, the specific goals, objectives, programs (including potential projects), and estimated expenditures of the Agency, and an explanation of how the goals and objectives, programs and expenditures will eliminate blight within the project area and implement the housing responsibilities of the Agency; and WHEREAS, this Agency, following the publishing and posting of notice as prescribed by Section 33490, has conducted a public hearing; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY that that certain plan entitled, "Implementation Plan - Redwood City Redevelopment Project Area No. 2", dated November, 1994, hereby is adopted as the implementation plan fulfilling the requirements of Section 33490 of the Health and Safety Code for the project area of Redevelopment Project No. 2.
