RD-94-08 RD 94-08 RD-94-8 RD 94-8 <br /> <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR WYNDHAM PLACE SOIL <br /> REMEDIATION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br /> FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br /> DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. RD 94-06, adopted March <br />21, 1994, the Secretary of the Redevelopment Agency advertised <br />for bids for the Wyndham Place Soil Remediation Project, Redwood <br />City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, eighteen bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the <br />Agency Secretary; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Covey Trucking Co. of San Mateo, California, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Board to accept said bid of Covey Trucking Co.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Covey Trucking Co., in the amount of One <br />Hundred Thirty-one Thousand One Hundred Ten and No/100 Dollars <br />($131,110.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br />dated April 20, 1994, for the Wyndham Place Soil Remediation <br />Project, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br />04/22/94) by and between the Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br />Redwood City and Covey Trucking Co., a copy of which agreement is <br />on file in the office of the Secretary, to which copy reference <br /> <br /> <br />
